The Kassia Academy is an Alternative Provision Academy supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. We work with learners who are at risk of exclusion or harm, or who have been excluded from mainstream education. Referrals are made through our partner local authorities and schools across the North West.

Our trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches help learners rebuild confidence, engage with education and develop a positive sense of belonging. We recognise that every young person has individual strengths, needs and aspirations, and we tailor our provision to help each learner achieve their potential.

High expectations, care and professionalism underpin everything we do. We are committed to nurturing a love of learning, developing the skills young people need for life beyond school and empowering them to pursue their ambitions and make a positive contribution to their communities.
