We are all very proud of our Year 11 students at The Kassia Academy. Despite facing many challenges our young people worked incredibly hard to overcome their anxieties and barriers and achieve amazing outcomes.

Our learners have performed well in their examinations and should be so proud of their results. Their commitment to re-engaging with education in a new school at such a late stage in their school careers has been astonishing. We have supported our young people to overcome and manage their SEND needs, personal fears and barriers and sit GCSE and equivalent examinations in line with their mainstream peers; their resilience is truly astonishing.

Success at Kassia comes in many forms and we are incredibly proud of our learner's achievements. As we say goodbye to the Kassia class of 23 we celebrate that 100% of our young people have left Kassia Academy with 5 qualifications and a secure pathway in education, employment and/or training.

We celebrate that our learners have left Kassia having developed life-long skills in resilience and empathy. Our learners understand that despite their start in life they deserve to have high expectations asked of them and staff at Kassia believed they could achieve. Our learners leave us with a good set of qualifications, skills for life and an understanding of how everyone has personal barriers to overcome but with patience, resilience, good relationships and hard work they can overcome these and be successful.

Our core values of High Standards, Empathy, Resilience and Emotional Response shine through our Year 11 leavers and they are an absolute  credit to The Kassia Academy family.

Congratulations Year 11, we are very proud of all of you!

Believe, Achieve, Succeed!
