Communication with Parents

Working alongside parents and carers is a crucial part of school life. We have an open door policy and we strive to ensure parents and carers are heard and fully involved with the school.

We hold three structured conversations with parents across the year. This is the first day of each term and we meet together in order to discuss progress and next steps.

We provide regular reports home to share data and we are always happy to talk through any concerns.

We provide newsletters each term and if we have specific information to share this will be done via email, parent text or a phone call if required. This section of the website will be regularly updated with parental information.

If you require a paper copy of any information on the website we can provide this free of charge.  Please contact Mrs Lyne Graham School Receptionist. Telephone 01925 452010 or email admin@tkas.org.uk who will assist you with this request.

Young Minds

Young minds - Parents, if your child has been denied support from CAMHS, or you are still waiting to be seen, we are here to support you. You can call our Parents Helpline on 0808 802 5544 from 9:30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.

You’ll be connected to one of our trained advisors, who will listen to your concerns, and ask key questions to understand your situation as best as they can. They will tailor advice to your situation and suggest practical steps you can take and ways to support your child whilst waiting to access help from services. This could include contact details for relevant support services, practical tips you can implement at home or giving you advice around alternative options for support.

We know how lonely it can feel to be left without access to the professional support your family needs – but we are here for you.
