We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of The Woodlands Centre, our state-of-the-art modular facility, officially inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, 5th July.
The ceremony was graced by Head of School Karl Hanna, English Lead Jessica Holmes, esteemed representatives of the Longbarn Residents Association Janet and Bob Heap, along with some of our enthusiastic learners, marking a significant milestone in our journey.
The Woodlands Centre is more than just a building; it symbolizes our commitment to providing top-notch educational spaces and fostering community collaboration. This cutting-edge facility boasts a modern classroom and office space designed to create an optimal learning environment. Additionally, it features a magnificent library, offering our learners a treasure trove of books to ignite their passion for reading and expand their knowledge.
In a unique and enriching partnership, The Woodlands Centre will also serve as the official headquarters for the Longbarn Residents Association. This collaboration reflects our shared vision of community development and mutual support. The Association will utilise the facility for their meetings and project planning, continuing their commendable efforts to enhance the community's well-being.
Together, the school and the Longbarn Residents Association are dedicated to working hand in hand, leveraging this new space to benefit both our learners and the broader community. We believe that by joining forces, we can create a vibrant hub of education, engagement, and community spirit.
We invite everyone to join us in celebrating this exciting new chapter and to witness first-hand the positive impact The Woodlands Centre will have on our school and local community.
